ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Szerzők, az utolsó 10 év folyamán tracheotomizált 238 beteg adatainak catamnestikus feldolgozása alapján foglalkoznak a műtéti indicatio változásával.
A 10 éves időszakot két 5 éves periódusra osztották fel. Az összehasonlításnál kitűnt, hogy a gégészeti indicatióra végzett műtétek száma a két időszakban gyakorlatilag nem változott, u.akkor az utóbbi 5 évben az ún. „prophylactikus tracheotomiá”-k száma jelentősen emelkedett. 179 betegüknél a kiterjesztett indicatio alapján végezték a műtétet.
Utalnak arra, hogy a „prophylactikus tracheotomia” kérdésében nincs egységes vélemény. Rámutatnak a gégeorvosoknak más szakmák orvosaival e téren kialakult újabb collaboratiójára.
Anyaguk elemzésével kívánnak hozzájárulni ahhoz, hogy a prophylactikus tracheotomia indicatiójának felállításában a gondos megfontolás és egységes elvek érvényesüljenek.
Alterations in the indication of tracheotomy during the past 10 years.
SUMMARY
On the basis of the catamnestic examination of the data of 238 patients, in whom tracheotomy has been done in the past 10 years, the alteration of the indication of tracheotomy is dealt with. The period of 10 years is divided into two periods of 5 years each. It has been found that the number of the operations performed upon laryn- gological indication did not alter essentially in the two periods, — and in the same time, the number of the so-called “prophylactic tracheotomies” increased considerably in the last 5 years. In 179 patients the authors have carried out the operation on the basis of “extended” indication. It is pointed out that in respect of “prophylactic tracheotomy” divergences of opinion exist. The collaboration of the laryngologist with other specialists is of great importance. On the basis of the analysis of their material the authors point out that in the indication of the prophylactic tracheotomy careful evaluation and uniform principles are necessary.
