Szerzők szövettani és histochemiai leleteikkel bizonyítják, hogy súlyos bar- biturat-mérgezetteknél a nagyobb mennyiségben jelenlevő váladék két tényező : egyrészt a fokozott nyák-productio, másrészt az eliminatio zavarának következménye. Hangsúlyozzák a megfelelő indicatio alapján végzett tracheotomia szükségességét.

SUMMARY
On the basis of the results of histological and histochemical examinations it is stated by the authors that in the case of severe barbiturate intoxication the increased quantity of secretion is due to the augmented production of mucus and to the disturbance of the elimination. The importance of the tracheotomy — performed on the basis of right indication — is emphasized.
