Szerzők a külső orr daganatai közül a rosszindulatú bőr-tumorokkal foglalkoznak az anatómiai helyzet, szövettani megoszlás, műtéti és sugárbiológiai adottságok szemszögéből.
770 betegnél az I. stádiumban 93%-os tartós tünetmentességet értek el. A II. stádiumban és a porcos vázra terjedésnél a sugaras és sebészi kezelés kombinációját szükségesnek tartják, de a korai plasztikai fedéstől rossz eredményeket láttak.
A recidivák oka éppúgy lehet a nem megfelelő sugaras kezelés, mint a nem megfelelő műtét, mely basoeellularis carcinománál a carcinoma terebrans kifejlődésének veszélyével jár.

SUMMARY
Among the tumours of the external ear the malignant skin-tumours are discussed and their anatomical conditions, their distribution on the basis of histological criteria, the surgical treatment and the possibilities of the radiation therapy are outlined.
In the first stage, out of 770 patients in 93 per cent lasting symptom-free recovery could be obtained. In the second stage and if the tumour invades into the cartilage, the combination of surgical treatment and irradiation therapy is recommended; on the other hand, in case of early plastic closure the author has observed bad results.
Recurrences may be due to both the not suitable radiation therapy and to the not adequate operation. In the case of basocellular carcinoma the not suitable surgical treatment involves the danger of the development of terebrant carcinoma.
