An interesting case of chemo- dectoma.
SUMMARY
The main clinico-pathological characteristics of the tumours of the glomus jugulare and the glomus caroticum are described. In the authors’ case the chemodectoma of the glomus jugulare penetrated into the jugular vein, this benign tumour has been observed after 7 years together with chemodectoma of the glomus caroticum. Successful surgical treatment has been performed.
