ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:

A szerző adatokkal támasztja alá a nyaki nyirokcsomók vizsgálatának szükségességét gége-carcinomás eseteknél. Rövid áttekintést ad a nyaki lympho- graphiának amúgy is rövid történetéről. Ilyenkor a kontrasztanyagot a kipreparált retroauricularis nyirokcsomóba adja be, miután annak vérereit leköti.

Experiences with cervical lymphography.

SUMMARY

The necessity of the study of the cervical lymph nodes in cases of laryngeal cancer is justified with personal data. A short review is given on the story of cervical lymphography, which is short anyway. Owing to technical difficulties the classis method could not have been performed in all cases. The author's modified method is presented, which is performed is cases not suited for the classic procedure. In these instances the contrast material is injected into the prepared retroauricular lymph node, after ligation of its blood vessels. The filling defect produced by sinus catarrh is considered also by the author as an early sign of cancerous invasion and it is likewise evaulated. Lymphography was performed in 17 cases, in four of them with the method od the author. In three cases the lymphogram showed the presence of tumors metastases, in 8 case the results were not satisfactory for evaluation. The techniques of lymphography should be further improved.
