ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerző az általa végzett 22 697 felsőlégúti rákszűrővizsgálat eredményeiről számol be. Felhívja a figyelmet a meglevő fül-orr-gégészeti praecancerotikus állapotok és incipiens carcinomák többségükben néma voltára, azoknak az ipari munkásság, a dohányosok és alcoholt fogyasztók közötti gyakoribb előfordulására. Összehasonlítja eredményeit nőgyógyászati rákszűrési eredményekkel. Az összehasonlítás, ill. a kiszűrt esetek száma alapján, a fül-orr-gé- gészeti rákok számának állandó emelkedése miatt, javasolja ott, ahol annak feltételei adva vannak, a fül-orr-gégészeti rákszűrés bevezetését — addig is, amíg az országos méretekben megvalósítható lesz.
Report of 22697 otorhinolaryngological cancer screening-tests.
SUMMARY
The results of 22697 cancer screening tests of the upper respiratory tract performed by the author are reported. Attention is called to the fact that most of the otorhinolaryngological precaneerous conditions and incipient cancers are silent, and their incidence is more frequent in industrial workers, tobacco-smokers and subjects consuming alcoholic beverages. The results of the authors are compared with the results of gynecological cancer screening tests. Base on this comparison, the number of detected cases with cancer and owing to the steady increase of the incidence of otorhinolaryngological cancer, in all places with the necessary prerequisites, as long as it can be performed in national filed, the introduction of otorhinolaryngological cancer screening tests is recommended.
