ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A szerzők a csecsnyújtvány pneumatisatiójának fokát vizsgálták 70 — több, mint 10 éve zajban dolgozó — munkásnál, akiknél minden esetben zajeredetű halláskárosodás volt kimutatható.
Az elvégzett Schüller-féle rtg.-vizsgálatok alapján nem találtak összefüggést a csecsnyújtvány pneumatisatiója és a zajártalom kialakulása között. Ugyancsak nem volt különbség a jól és rosszul pneumatizált csecsnyújt- ványú zaj munkások átlagos halláscsökkenése között.
Pneumatisation of the mastoid in subjects working in noise.
SUMMARY
The degree of the pneumatisation of the mastoid was studied in 70 subjects, who were workinf in noise for more than ten years, and in all of whom impairment of hearing secondary to noise damage could have been detected.
Based on Schüller radiograms no correlation was observed between the development of noise injury and pneumatisation of the mastoids. No difference was reveiled either in the mean impairment of hearing of subjects working in noise with good and poor pneumatisation of the mastoid.
