ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A chemotherapeutikumok és antibioticumok felfedezése és alkalmazása óta a külső hallójárat, és középfül gyulladásos betegeinek localis chemothera- piás és antibioticus kezeléséről számos közleményben számoltak be. A cortison készítményeket szakmánk területén is egyre több megbetegedésnél alkalmazzák, fülcsepp, fülkenőcs, orrcsepp stb. formájában.
Clinical Experience with “Otosporin” on the Basis of 300 Cases.
SUMMARY
The author reports on the experience gained with the use of „Otosporin” in 300 clinical cases. The “Otosporin” consists of 5 mg hydrocortison, 5 mg nemycin, 10 000 E. polymyxin B, dissolved in 5 ml. The “Otosporin” was applied in cases of several forms of inflammations of the external auditory meatus and of acute otitis media when results had not been obtained ny other therapeutical means. It was applied with mesotympanal forms of chronic inflammations of the middle ear and in cases of purulences after radical ear-operations. “Otosporin” was used for pre-and postoperative treatments too in cases of tympanoplasticai operations. The most convincing results were obtained in mesotympanal forms of chronic infammations of the middle ear where in 75 per cent of the cases the discharge ceased and the tympanal cavity dried up. Out of 300 patients full recovery was obtained in 215 cases (72 per cent), improvent was observed in 54 cases (18 per cent) and only 31 patients (18 per cent) remained unchanged.
