ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A haemangiomák a vérerek jóindulatú daganatai. Szövettanilag újonnan képződött, normál felépítésű vérerek alkotják. Az érfal szerkezete és a lumenméret alapján haemangioma simplex, s. capillare; haemangioma arteriale, s. racemosum, haemangioma cavernosum (cavernoma) és haemangioma arteriovenosum typusok különíthetők el. Felszínük és formájuk, valamint megjelenési helyük is jellemző és differenciáldiagnosztikus értékű. Pontos identifikálásuk azonban csak szövettani vizsgálattal lehetséges.

SUMMARY
The authors are concerned with the occurrence of hemangiomata of the root of the tongue. They set forth their views on this matter in connection of two clinical cases calling attention to the symptoms originating from the localisation of the disease as well as to the complications and the questions of differential diagnosis.
