A mykoticus megbetegedések szaporodása és veszélyesebbé válása, újabb s az eddigieknél hatásosabb therápiás lehetőségeket kíván, ezért, mint a bacterialis fertőzéseknél, itt is az antibioticus kezeléstől várhatók jobb eredmények.
Tratment of Oral and Aural Mycoses with Flavofungin.
SUMMARY
The authors report on Flavofungin tested by them in treating mycoticotho- rhinolaryngical cases at the Debrecen Clinic in 1959—1960. During two years 80 patients were treated with mycologically proved oral- and aural mycosis. They report the results of their investigations and methods of treatment.
They established that local treatment with Flavofungin in cases of tonsillomycosis yielde results only in acute cases, while the same drug was quite ineffective in chronic cases of mycosis of the oral mucous membrane and otomycosis too.
