ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Az alkohol nystagmusról Bernhard, Goldberg (1934) óta számos szerző (Aschan, Bergstedt, Goldberg, Frenzel, Plenkers) számolt be. Mi az alkohol nystagmus mellett a dorlotyn és az alkohol—dorlotyn nystagmus vizsgálatát tűztük ki célul.
jfc A vizsgálatot 22 egészséges fiatal — átlagosan 21 éves — egyénnél három egymást követő napon végeztük. Az első napon a normál állapot rögzítése után testsúly kg-onként 0,40 g alkoholt adtunk 40 %-os rum formájában. A második napon egy tabl. dorlotynt (ac. isoamylaethylbarbituricum). A harmadik napon pedig egy tabl. dorlotynt és a fenti alkoholdozist együttesen. Hatásukat 70 és 180 perccel a bevétel után a spontán, a tekintési, a pozitionalis és a forgatási (10 forgatás 20 másodperc alatt ülő helyzetben, 30 fokra előrehajtott fejjel j., illetve b. felé), nystagmus kép észlelésével mértük le. A vizsgálathoz Bartels- szemüveget használtunk.
Investigations on Nystagmus after the Administration cf Small Quantities of Alcohol, Dorlotyn and Alcohol-Dorlotyn.
SUMMARY
The author examined the picture of spontaneous, looking, positional and rotatory nystagmus after the administration of alcohol, dorlotyn and alcohol together with dorlotyn. He abserved that: 1. alcohol and alcohol — dorlotyn are more efficaceous in causing spontaneous nystagmus than dorlotyn alone but the action of dorlotyn is more prolonged ; 2. dorlotyn and dorlotyn-f alcohol are moreefficient than alcohol in bringging about nystagmus in the looking direction and the combined action of alcohol and dorlotyn is the most durable ; 3. in causing positional nystagmus the most efficaceous

drugs are alcohol and alcohol + dorlotyn the action of alcohol and dorlotyn being the most lasting. Administration of alcohol + dorlotyn causes most frequently bilateral turning of the nystagmus.
On the basis of the above facts the author refers to the synergism of alcohol and dorlotyn. According to his investigations barbitural derivates intensify the action of alcohol and in case of their combined consumption the troubles caused by them are more marked and more prolonged.
