ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
Az antibioticumok nagy kezdeti sikerei után meglepődve tapasztaltuk, hogy a staphylococcus aureus haemolyticus által okozott súlyos lefolyású, különböző localisatiójú sepsises esetek száma ismét emelkedett. Ez különösen csecsemőkorban okozott súlyos problémát, ahol a gyenge ellenállóképesség és a kórokozók erős invasiv tulajdonsága miatt gyorsan alakul ki súlyos sep- ticus állapot, pyaemia és szóródás.
Treatment of Staphylococcal Osteomyelitis of the Cheek-bone and the Flat bones of the Skull in Infants.
SUMMARY
The authors report on 7 cases of osteomyelitis of the maxilla, 3 cases of the flat bones of the skull and one case of abscessus septi nasi in infants caused by staphylococcus aureus haemolyticus during the last five years. They emphasize the importance of combined parenteral antibiotic treatment, the immediate administration of antibiotics at the beginning of the disease and the continuation of it up till to the neutralization of the clinical and laboratory symptoms. In case of surgical interventions they proceed with with sound conservativism.
