ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS:
A csecsemőkori gége-haemangioma igen ritka megbetegedés. A gége jóindulatú daganatainak osztályozásakor (12) majdnem utolsó helyen szerepel. A világirodalomban is igen kevés megfigyelésről számolnak be. A hazai első csecsemőkori esetet Tamási (1) ismertette.

SUMMARY
The two-month old infant was admitted for suspicion of pseudocroup. Despite conservative treatment lasting for three weeks, attacks of dysponea occurred with increasing frequency and severity. While near to suffocation and having fever of 40 C°, the patient was “moment-tracheotomized”. Then laryngfissure was carried out and a subglottic tumour measuring 3:4: 12 mm was removed. Histology revealed a haemangioendothelioma.
In cases of dyspnoea assigned to a pseudocroup the possibility of tumour is also to be taken into consideration, especially if conservative treatment fails to bring about relief. Direct laryngoscopy is therefore imperative. Reliable anamnestic data may be of help, laryngeal haemangioma being a congenital tumour that ought to have caused dyspnoea as early as after birth. In the reported case, the respiration of the newborn was loud from the second week onward, this fact, however, was unknown to us before operation.
